I’m a sucker for eggs and breakfast. In fact, breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day. That’s why I’m grateful for brunch places. Having breakfast any time of the day is just brilliant!
Eggs for Breakfast. The name alone made me all excited to visit this out of the way cafe. Thank goodness for Waze for making life easier for everyone.
I was impressed with the garden setting. The cafe itself is fairly small but the surroundings more than made up for it. Eggs for Breakfast is one of those cafes where there’s a certain theme but there are choices other than more eggs. But we came for the eggs.
We ordered Eggs Benedict while my sister got Eggs Benjamin. It’s similar to Eggs Bene only it has salmon. I got Bacon Fried Eggs for my daughter. Eggs were cooked to perfection. They were generous with the hollandaise which I think should be a meal in itself.
All in all, it was a good brunch. So good that we decided to try the Peach Ravioli for dessert. And this is where they failed. It was just all cream and crisp and oily ravioli with only 2 small pieces of peaches.
Thumbs up for the cappuccino.
Price? A bit overpriced.
Would we go back? Yes. On a Sunday when traffic isn’t so bad.
